1. Overview & Fundamental Philosophy
At krapht studio (operated by UTOlabs), we treat user privacy with the highest reverence. Our core engineering principle is "Zero Data Collection". All applications built and distributed by krapht studio / UTOlabs — including krapht Phone, krapht Message, krapht Phoenix Gold, krapht Phoenix, krapht live launcher, krapht Widgets Suite, krapht File, krapht FineScale, krapht Loop, and krapht Korean Idioms — do not collect, transmit, store, monetize, or share any personal identity or telemetry data with external servers.
All computational processing is strictly confined On-Device. We do not integrate third-party advertising SDKs, marketing trackers, or telemetry beacons.
2. Device Permissions & Technical Usage
To deliver responsive and reliable experiences, krapht applications may request specific system permissions on your Android device. Their scopes are strictly limited as follows:
-
All Files Access & Storage Permissions (krapht File): Required strictly to provide core file management capabilities (browsing directory hierarchies, copying, moving, deleting, renaming files, creating folders, and converting image formats across internal and external storage). No user files, directory listings, or document contents are ever uploaded, analyzed, or transmitted to any external servers or third parties.
-
Local Wi-Fi Network & PC Web Share (krapht File): Used solely to establish a direct peer-to-peer (P2P) wireless file transfer between your mobile device and a desktop web browser over your private local Wi-Fi network via an ephemeral 6-digit PIN. All data transfers occur 100% locally with zero cloud proxy or external server relay.
-
Notification Listener Service (krapht Phoenix): Used solely to capture playback metadata (title, artist, album art, lyrics, and play/pause controls) from active music players to display on the launcher dashboard. Notification contents are processed in volatile memory and never transmitted outside the device.
-
Record Audio / Microphone (krapht Phoenix): Used exclusively to perform native FFT visualizer computations (30-Band dual stereo spectrum) during active audio playback. No voice, ambient sound, or microphone audio is ever recorded, stored, or streamed.
-
Coarse Location (krapht Phoenix): Used only to fetch regional weather forecasts (temperature, precipitation, conditions) on the dashboard widget. Geographic coordinates are discarded immediately after the forecast request and never logged.
-
Query All Packages (krapht Phoenix): A standard Android launcher permission required to index and launch installed applications within the App Drawer in alphabetical order.
-
Default Phone Handler & Call Logs (krapht Phone): Used strictly to manage incoming/outgoing voice calls, display recent call history, provide floating in-call controls, and save call recordings locally upon user request. Call logs and audio recordings are stored 100% on-device and never transmitted to external servers.
-
Default SMS/MMS & Contacts (krapht Message): Used strictly to send and receive SMS/MMS text messages, organize conversation threads, display contact names, and scan message links locally against malicious phishing patterns. Text messages and contact data are processed 100% on-device with zero tracking.
3. Zero Third-Party Sharing & No Cloud Profiling
krapht studio does not share, sell, lease, or disclose any user data to third parties. We do not operate remote user databases, nor do we track user identifiers (UID), Advertising IDs (ADID), or hardware fingerprints.
4. Children's Privacy
Our software does not knowingly solicit or collect data from children under the age of 13. All our utilities and launchers are designed for general audiences and operate autonomously on-device without cloud account requirements.
5. Data Security & Local Storage
User preferences (widget placements, theme luminance factors, pinned applications) are stored locally using Android's secure preferences mechanisms (such as EncryptedSharedPreferences and DataStore). Uninstalling the application completely purges all associated local cache files immediately.
6. AI Instant Prompts & Third-Party LLM Processing (krapht Phoenix Gold)
When utilizing the AGENT Strip feature in krapht Phoenix Gold, text prompts entered by the user are transmitted directly and securely via encrypted HTTPS connections to official AI provider endpoints (Google Gemini, OpenAI ChatGPT, and Anthropic Claude) solely to generate inline conversational responses.
-
Zero Server Logging: krapht studio / UTOlabs operates no intermediary proxy servers and does not log, collect, inspect, or store any of your queries, conversations, or API keys.
-
Local Memory & Sovereignty: All chat transcripts, context memories, and multi-turn session records remain strictly on your local device.
-
User Sovereignty & Instant Purge: You may reset your conversation history or delete stored API keys instantly at any time within the launcher interface.
